The Foundation for Laboratory Medicine Innovation (FLMI), is organized as a non-profit corporation and formed in 2022, exclusively for educational, scientific and charitable purposes.

The mission

To promote the advancement of laboratory medicine by improving educational opportunities and enhancing the professional knowledge of laboratory medicine professionals. To facilitate cooperation between clinical laboratories, research laboratories, and the biotechnology industry to encourage innovation and progress in the field.

FLMI serves laboratory medicine professionals through:

​

• the enhancement of professional communication by forming and providing administrative support to professional groups in the field of laboratory medicine.

• promotion of academic and practice collaboration by supporting professional groups to organize seminars, webinars and meetings.

• sponsorship of medical education by providing awards and grants for cutting-edge technology.

• international partnerships with other laboratory medicine organizations by co-hosting meetings and attending other professional meetings as a group.

• We also advocate for training and job opportunities that will support the growth and success of our members
